Measure the Right Finger:
Our dominant hands tend to be slightly larger. Be sure to measure the correct finger on the correct hand to get an accurate fit. -
Consider Band Width:
Wider bands tend to fit more snugly. If you're measuring one of your partner's rings, try to find one with a similar width to the ring you plan to purchase. -
Check Temperature:
Ensure your finger is at a normal body temperature when measuring. Fingers can expand or shrink in response to hot or cold temperatures. -
Measure at the Right Time:
Finger size can change throughout the day, so it’s best to measure at the end of the day for a more accurate result. -
Account for Knuckle Size:
If your knuckle is larger, take two measurements: one at the knuckle and one at the base. Choose a size in between to ensure the ring slides over the knuckle but isn’t too loose. -
Choosing a Standard Size:
If you’re unsure of your partner's ring size, selecting a common size can be a good starting point. Average ring sizes range from 6 to 9 for women and 9 to 13 for men.
